Miriam Mutambudzi is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Social and Behavioral Sciences in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Community Health at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. Dr. Mutambudzi received her Ph.D. in Public Health from the University of Connecticut. Dr. Mutambudzi‘s interests are in social epidemiology and her research has focused on ethnic, racial & social disparities in women’s health outcomes, perinatal & reproductive epidemiology, and the effects of occupational/environmental exposures on pregnancy.
