Co-Investigator for FAA Center of Excellence in Commercial Space Transportation. Principal Investigator for a National Space Biomedical Research Institute (NSBRI) grant and a NASA education and training grant. Active in clinical practice at the UTMB Aerospace Medicine Center, performing FAA medical evaluations for pilots, including those with medical, psychological, or substance abuse problems.
