Dr. Fraser leads the general preventive medicine residency program at UTMB. He also teaches graduate school courses on health law and policy as well as occupational medicine in the MPH Program. In the School of Medicine he facilitates a small group in the first year Practice of Medicine course. His past and current clinical practice activities have been in the areas of community pediatrics, college health, pediatric emergency medicine, military preventive medicine, and employee health. Dr. Fraser also serves as the injury prevention specialist for the UTMB level 1 trauma center program. His past and current research and writing have focused on adolescent health, pediatric emergency medicine, injury epidemiology, and child health policy. He has served in numerous positions at local, state, and national levels in various medical professional societies.
