Applications are considered for preventive medicine residencies and the Master of Public Health (MPH) or Master of Science (MS) programs separately. Applicants are notified of each decision independently.  Acceptance into the residency program is contingent upon acceptance into the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Completed applications must be received or postmarked in the Office of Preventive Medicine Residencies by October 31 preceding the June start date, in order to be considered for admission.  After the application and supporting material have been received, selected applicants will be invited for a formal interview usually held within the first two weeks of December.  The specific dates will be set forth in the letter of invitation.  For those requiring other interview times, special arrangements may be considered with advanced notice.

For further information about the residency, please contact the residency coordinator at (409) 772-5845 or via email at ryschulz@utmb.edu.
